 武汉大学药学院是一个主要从事药学高等教育和药学科学研究的新兴学院,药学一级学科为湖北省重点学科。学院拥有组合生物合成与新药发现教育部重点实验室、湖北省有机氟类药物工程技术研究中心、湖北省药物及药用材料研发推广中心、微生物代谢与药物发现创新引智基地等创新平台。根据我院教学科研和学科发展需要,为进一步推动药学前沿交叉领域研究,特面向海内外广纳英才,诚邀药学以及与药学相关的生命科学、医学、化学、材料科学等领域的优秀人才加盟。学院将根据申请者的研究背景和条件推荐申报各类人才项目,并全程提供专业化的服务。

邓子新院士

        邓子新,中国科学院院士,第三世界科学院院士,美国微生物科学院院士,英国皇家化学学会会士。现担任中国微生物学会理事长,中国农业生物技术学会副理事长,国际工业微生物遗传学组织专家委员会(GIM-IC)主席,国际放线菌生物学组织委员会(ISBA)委员。现任美国化学会杂志《ACS Chemical Biology》副主编,《Synthetic and Systems Biotechnology》创刊主编,Cell系列《Cell Chemical Biology》、美国微生物学会《Applied and Environmental Microbiology》等数十个国际期刊编委。

 

近年来,在院长邓子新院士的带领下,学院发展驶入快车道,青年才俊纷纷加盟,在团队支持下成长迅速,已获批千人计划3(青年千人2)、青年长江1人、国家优秀青年基金3人、青年拔尖人才2人、新世纪优秀人才5人、楚天学者特聘教授6人、珞珈特聘教授3,楚天学子5,珞珈青年学者7人。

 

        学院国际合作氛围浓厚,已与美国斯坦福大学、美国麻省理工学院、美国布朗大学、美国伊利诺伊大学香槟厄本那分校、英国牛津大学、英国剑桥大学等多个海外著名院所建立了长期合作关系。教师国际交流频繁,每年有多位教师赴海外开展合作研究,95%以上专任教师具有海外学习或工作经历。学院还聘请了十余名知名外籍专家担任学院客座教授等。

 

学院现有包括超高分辨质谱仪、液相色谱质谱联用仪、高压液相色谱仪、DNA合成仪、全自动蛋白纯化仪、全自动发酵罐、激光共聚焦显微镜、核磁共振仪等涉及分子生物学、生物药学、分析检测、化学合成、发酵等领域的共享仪器平台。同时,学校还提供医学仪器设备共享中心、动物实验中心ABSL-III实验室等共享实验平台。目前,学校正在准备筹建冷冻电镜平台。

1.千人计划创新人才长期项目
招聘条件
1
)申报时年龄不超过55周岁,一般应当取得博士学位。

)在国外著名高校、科研机构担任相当于副教授及以上或相当职务,或者在国际知名企业、金融机构担任高级职务的专业技术人才和经营管理人才。

Introduction of Wuhan University School of Pharmaceutical Sciences

  Wuhan University School of Pharmaceutical Sciences (WHUSPS) is a new institution mainly engaged in pharmacy higher education and pharmaceutical science research. Pharmacy is the key discipline in Hubei Province. WHUSPS owns Key Laboratory of Combinatorial Biosynthesis and Drug Discovery, Ministry of Education, Hubei engineering research center of organic fluorine drugs, Hubei Province Drug and Pharmaceutical Materials R&D and Promotion Center, Innovation and Foreign Intellectual Resources Base of Microbial Metabolism and Drug Discovery, and so on.  To meet the requirements of pharmacy education and scientific research, in order to further promote the research of the cross-cutting field of pharmacy, we are especially interested in recruiting talents from home and abroad, and we invite pharmacies and pharmaceutical-related talents in life sciences, medicine, chemistry, materials science and other fields to join us. About us

Dean of WHUSPS, Zixin Deng

   Professor Zixin Deng, is the fellow of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, fellow of the Third World Academy of Sciences, fellow of the American Academy of Microbiology, and fellow of the Royal Society of Chemistry. He is the director of the State Key Laboratory of Microbial Metabolism, the chairman of the Chinese Society of Microbiology, the vice chairman of the China Agricultural Biotechnology Society, and the chairman of theInternational Committee for Genetics of Industrial Microorganisms (GIM-IC)the member of International Symposium on the Biology of Actinomycetes (ISBA). He is the associate editor of ACS Chemical Biology in the United States, and advisory editorial board member of dozens of international scientific journals such as Cell Chemical Biology, Applied and Environmental Microbiology.

 

  Under the leadership of Prof. Zixin Deng, our school has made great progress in discipline construction, talent cultivation, teaching and scientific research over the last decade. The faculty team is composed of knowledgeable and rigorous scholars, and awarded numerous honors. Three people have been approved for the plan (National Thousand Talents Program), one person has been awarded the title of the Youth of the Yangzi River, three persons have been named as national outstanding youth funds and two young top-notch personnels, five new century talents, six distinguished professors of Chutian scholars, three distinguished Luojia professors, five Chutian scholars, and seven young Luojia scholars.

 

  The school has extensive cooperation and communication with top international universities, research institutes, and pharmaceutical groups, such as Stanford University, Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Brown University, American University of Illinois at Urbana-Europe, and Oxford University. More than 95% faculty members have studied abroad, academic vision is wider. The school also employed 10 honorary professors and 3 visiting professors.

  The school currently possesses a shared instrument platform in the fields of biology, biopharmaceuticals, analytical testing, chemical synthesis, fermentation, and so on, including ultra-high resolution mass spectrometer, liquid chromatography mass spectrometer, high pressure liquid chromatography, DNA synthesizer, automatic protein purification instrument, automatic fermenter, laser confocal microscope, nuclear magnetic resonance instrument and other related facilities. At the same time, the school also provides a shared experimental platform such as the Medical Instrument and Equipment Sharing Center, the Animal Experimental Center, and the ABSL-III Laboratory. Currently, Wuhan University is preparing to construct a cryo-electron microscope platform.

1. Innovative Talent long-term program under the One Thousand Talent Scheme

Recruitment requirement

1) The applicant should be no more than 55 years old at the time of application, and a doctoral degree is generally required;

2) The applicant holds position as associate professor and above, or equivalent position in famous overseas university or research institution; or is a professional technical or managerial talent who serves senior position in internationally renowned enterprise and financial institution.

3) The applicant has not worked full-time in China at the time of application, or has worked in the country for no more than one year.

4) The applicant is to work full-time in the university.

5) For talent with outstanding achievement or in urgent need of the country, the age and academic degree requirements may be appropriately relaxed.

Working and living conditions

1) Academic team will be organized and work assistant will be provided.

2) A start-up research fund of no less than 3,000,000 yuan will be granted to the recruited talent in natural or medical science discipline, together with additional funding for platform building and equipment procurement; for applicant in humanity and social science discipline, the start-up research fund is 500,000 to 1,000,000 yuan.

3) A salary of no less than 800,000 yuan/year, together with additional rewards for high-level academic achievement or academic research performance.

4) On top of the one-off subsidy of 1,000,000 yuan provided by the state, an additional subsidy of no less than 2,000,000 yuan will be granted by the university as settling-in allowance (or provision of talent apartment), and transitional housing or rental subsidy will be provided.

5) Employment in life-time tenure position with excellent research platform, office space and research space; guaranteed annual quota of at least 2 doctoral students, plus 1-2 post-doctoral positions under the key grant program (subject to university evaluation).

 

2. Distinguished Professor of the Yangtze River Scholar Program

Recruitment requirement

1) The applicant should be no more than 47 years old for position in natural science disciplines, or no more than 57 years old for position in humanity and social science disciplines.

2) Overseas applicant should hold position as associate professor and above, or equivalent position in high-level overseas university or research institution; domestic applicant should hold position as full professor or equivalent position.

3) The applicant is to work full-time in the university.

Working and living conditions

1) Academic team will be organized and work assistant will be provided.

2) A start-up research fund of no less than 3,000,000 yuan will be granted to the recruited talent in natural or medical science discipline, together with additional funding for platform building and equipment procurement; for applicant in humanity and social science discipline, the start-up research fund is 50,000 to 1,000,000 yuan.

3) A salary of no less than 650,000 yuan/year, together with additional rewards for high-level academic achievement or academic research performance.

4. A subsidy of no less than 2,000,000 yuan will be granted by the university as settling-in allowance (or provision of talent apartment), and transitional housing or rental subsidy will be provided.

5) Employment in life-time tenure position with excellent research platform, office space and research space; guaranteed annual quota of at least 2 doctoral students, plus 1-2 post-doctoral positions under the key grant program (subject to university evaluation).

3. Talent under the One Thousand Young Talent Scheme

Recruitment fields

Natural science, engineering and technology.

Recruitment requirement

1) The applicant should be no more than 40 years old at the time of application, with a doctoral degree obtained;

2) The applicant holds a formal teaching or research position in well-known overseas university, scientific research institution or well-known corporate R&D institution, and has worked consecutively more than 36 months overseas after obtaining a doctoral degree; for talent who has obtained doctoral degree overseas or in urgent need of the country, the requirement on overseas employment may be appropriately relaxed.

3) The applicant has obtained scientific research achievements recognized by peer experts, and has potential of becoming academic or technical leader in the field.

4) The applicant has not worked full-time in China at the time of application, or has worked in the country for no more than one year, and is expected to work full-time in the university upon employment.

Working and living conditions

1) On top of the start-up research fund of 1,000,000 to 3,000,000 yuan granted by the state, a supporting funding by the proportion of 1:1 will be granted by the university; additional funding can be applied for platform building and under the key breakthrough research plan.

2) A salary of no less than 500,000 yuan/year, together with additional rewards for high-level achievement and academic research performance; a state subsidy of 1,000,000 yuan, together with an additional subsidy of no less than 2,000,000 yuan will be granted by the university as settling-in allowance (or provision of talent apartment), and transitional housing or rental subsidy will be provided.

3) The applicant can be employed in professor position (included in the staffing quota of public institution, fixed position), with qualification as supervisor of doctoral students; provision of excellent research platform, office space and research space; guaranteed annual quota of at least 2 doctoral students, plus 1-2 post-doctoral positions under the key grant program (subject to university evaluation).

1) A start-up research fund of 500,000 to 3,000,000 yuan will be granted to the recruited talent in natural or medical science discipline; for applicant in humanity and social science discipline, the start-up research fund is 150,000 to 500,000 yuan.

2) A salary of 200,000 to 400,000 yuan/year, negotiable for exceptionally excellent talent.
